So there has been a bit of chat about this forum hibernating , I have recently made a bit more effort to visit the page and post , I even decided to post up details of our first meeting of the year !!
Well that was a bloody waste of time as it’s been deleted , no idea why and no explanation !!!

Seems the overbearing mods and rules that caused us to set up the Facebook page are still very much present .

Won’t bother any more !!!

It is disappointing as not everybody has FB. It’s enthusiasts like us that are the target market for PH (I look at it every day). But the Forum side just seems to not work anymore. Sham

Utterly bizarre.
By posting on the forum you’re keeping PH relevant, if they can’t see that then it’s just another little nail in the PH coffin compared with FB.

This is why I almost never even look at noble PH forum let alone post here... it’s such a shame as this was so much better for reading build threads etc, and it used to be such a friendly forum.

not Noble related but I do suspect that the unanswerable mod thing is still strong within PH. It is a shame especially with things like meets since that really would pull more people into the various sub-forums

Really sad, this used to be such a great forum, really helpful with all the knowledge and helpful people on here, this is a typical example of how PH has driven everyone away. I didn't have a FB account and only set one up for the Noble info but is the only way to keep in touch with what is going on if PH don't allow something as simple as sharing a meeting? Feel sorry for Tux, he is one of the Noble stalwarts who keeps everything together and it's painful to see him keep getting banned or posts deleted.

I think it is simply rude to delete someone’s post without any explanation or feedback to the OP. Mods should apply a it of courtesy, except where someone is being an obvious twonk of course. Too many of power trips I think.

Come on you lot upstairs sort yourselves out and get with it.....

This used to be one of the best forums on PistonHeads, I used to follow it well before I owned a Noble.
Many other car forums on here I follow or used too have gone the same or similar.

Now because of your ridiculous rules etc etc it’s now desolate and near everyone has abandoned and defected to Facebook sadly.

I’m not on Facebook and have to use my wife’s, much prefer to be on here, I’m certain many others are the same.

I really miss the banter the lot on here which Facebook hasn’t got.

Again, sort yourselves out please!

Shaun

just use NobleForums.com. Much better layout, although it'll be a bit slower for the UK members.
Mods aren't nazis and there's plenty of easy to search information

^ That.

Seems odd and daft of PH to delete a post about a car meet. I don’t use FB, it’s rubbish for what we need on a car forum. So, like others, I want this forum brought back to life. Both sides need to get together and start talking. Happy to help in any way. Come on, we’re all grown ups. Let’s prove it.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's stopping a tech nerd setting up a new Pistonheads style forum as it once was? Something paid for by ads like it was before the big boys took over and rung its neck. PH has become arrogant like many companies that go big and forgotten all about loyalty and who they need to keep it going. Their view will be 'if you don't like it, fk off. There'll always be another mug to replace you'.

nevertheless, can somebody explain to me how to become a member of the FB community as I am currently undertaking an effort to convert my RHD to LHD (yes I live in the Netherlands) and need some help at certainpoints (fan heater, steering rack, wiper motor) No not the dash , wll have to sort that myself.
I have now two times answered the difficult questions on FB such as who is the founder of Noble but no response
this is the 3 rd Noble I have owned and I am making serious work of converting now, I consider it a learning process to get to know the car the way it was build (not too good as far as I can see now) but that does not distract from the pleasure of driving the car.And the looks are awsome still esp when ou see one driving in front of you

Yes this forum is now very disappointing. I asked a question regarding a fuse location because my car was up on a ramp and unable to access the passenger footwell to check and it seemed like I was asking a trade secret, as there was no response. It wasn’t a life of death situation, just wanted to get an possible answer as to the location of said fuse, and just ment waiting a few weeks and solving the problem myself.
Anyway spirits up guys.

Perhaps we should all make the effort to post ,I check this forum most days perhaps more do the same .If we make an effort to contribute instead of having a look and leaving we might start reviving the old place.
