Front turbo heat shield
Discussion
While the car is on the ramp replacing some of the loom, I thought it was time to do the things I I had planned to do over the last couple of winters, but got caught up in other car projects. So today I set about making a replacement turbo heat shield using a piece of Nimbus. Took a couple of hours all in and fits really easily and although the turbo had some exhaust wrap and the exhaust is ceramic coated, I thought I would protect the wiring loom, alternator, gear cables and air con pump a little bit better. This nimbus should also disparate the heat a lot better than the silly piece of alloy that was originally there.
