Driveshaft

Some clarification needed. For the M400, is it true the driveshafts are from a MK2 Mondeo ST200 and NOT from a MK3 ST220? I know the 6 speed box is out of the ST220 and assumed the shafts were also. Cheers

As far as I am aware none of the mondeo drive shafts fit, they are 10mm too long... I have purchased lots of mondoe shafts over the years in the hope of using the joints or modifying the shafts and not a single component was transferable to my noble.

I 'believe' the shafts and joints are from a ford cougar 2.5 v6.

The shafts are the same for all the GTO, GTO3, GTO3r and M400 regardless of 5 or 6 speed box. I changed from 5 to 6 speed so I know this from experience.

Be aware, if you run the longer Mondeo shafts, they do fit but can seriously damage your gearbox.
