Jetstream (first visit)
Discussion
I have been to SWL (a great family business from top to bottom), and Bespoke (very friendly and helpful) and I would recommend either, but Jetstream, well is Jetstream. From Matt’s eclectic collection of cars which will keep you entertained for some time (and more so as they all have a story behind them!), to the number of Nobles so you can study all the different modifications etc in one go, to the numerous jets planes on site; Lightening’s, a Canberra, Meteor, Star Fighter, Vampire, Sea vixen, Tornado, Buccaneer, a Guppy numerous 747’s and Tri Stars, and more, all against a backdrop of 30,0000 cars (in storage) and a test track (race and off road). There is even a car auction on site (if your missus needs a car), a good canteen (don’t me put off by the utilitarian feel), and you can by and large walk around most of it. Whilst wondering around looking at all the planes Jim Clarkes 1960 Lotus Formula 1 car was screeching round the test track (the tall radial tyres dwarfing the slimline body slung between them), and howling down the straight at 160mph! When it had finished the lone driver parked up in front of me and was only too happy to then answer a barrage of questions (utterly stunning car if you get chance to see it). Meanwhile back at the garage David and Matt were working hard to get my car fixed so that I may get home (it’s an 8 hour round trip) and soldiered on until 9pm to do just that.
Whilst I have read much about Jetstream, I had not quite understood just how much heart they have invested in Nobles there. Matt has moulds for many parts, including clams, some of these available off the shelf in carbon fibre, there was for example an almost finished complete fastback clam (destined for Mr Roberts), but it looks fantastic and is a straight swap. There are replica M400 dash panels in carbon fibre allowing an extra gauge to be fitted (and it really looks the part fitted). There is a Noble with the engine no longer fitted transversally but longitudinally and another racing version heavily modified including to allow for wider wheels/larger brakes etc having a ground up rebuild (back to road use). This was built at the same time as Kevin’s I understand.
It really is a fascinating place to visit if you’re a new owner (I have owned mine for 4 years now but I have never seen another Noble in that time), and furthermore the service was exemplary.
As I say I don’t want to detract from other Noble dealers (many of whom are well regarded on the forums quite rightly), but I couldn’t help feel that Jetstream felt like the Nobles spiritual home!

I wish your M600 had been there, that would have been the icing on the cake! There were 12 M12's, three of which were M400's, lots of other interesting cars as I say, including a Ford GT40, the size of which surprised me, it seemed huge. Not only did I receive great service but as you say Matt, Dave and Beth are all very friendly (and interesting) people!
+1
I drove to Jetstream all the way from Germany with my M12 GTO3 for a major technical overhaul. The car stayed for two weeks and has literally been transformed during this time.
It was absolutely worth the effort. They know their stuff and are happy to share knowledge, insights and anecdotes.
