Autosport 2018
Discussion
So this year the Owners Club had 5 Cars on display at Autosport , as normal they were very popular with the public and the stand was pretty busy .
Noble Automotive also had 2 x M600 on display , 1 x Carbon Sport and the new Speedster in bright red .
Both looked amazing and looked stunning under the lights .
Unfortunately there was a distinct lack of Noble owners attending the show so perhaps that will be the last year we attend .

Exactly ,that's why not many people attend ,facebook is not everyone's cup of tea . The way clubs were run in the past is completely obsolete IMO, pay to join, newsletter, little annual membership card etc etc.... yeah a lot of us 'oldies' still become members, but the 'youth' arnt interested in all that, they want it instant, completely interactive AND free!
The Noble club does everything the old way used to do, but better IMO!..... it promotes the brand by having stands at shows. It arranges trackdays and meets. It sorts out group buys and discounts. Its promotes adverts for Noble related stuff for sale from members. It provides real time news about developments and potential mods. It promotes all members to be involved. Its FREE.
Ok so some don't like the medium the club is run from (FB), just like people used to dislike paying an annual membership to get very little.
It was attempted to run it mainly off the PH site, but unfortunately the PH rules are in complete contrast to what a club tries to achieve for the members (not allowed to advertise meets if they are sponsored like the Jetstream one is, group buys were deleted etc) thus it ended up on FB.
I'm trying to get my head around this 'Unfortunately there was a distinct lack of Noble owners attending the show so perhaps that will be the last year we attend'.
Why would a lack of owners attending mean the club stand can't go back? Surely the stand is to get new enthusiasts and attention.

Basically, Facebook seems to send out emails about every little thing anytime one of your "friends" so much as sneezes, along with messages such as "you're missing out, there have been 300 things happened since you last looked at Facebook". Even when I last looked at Facebook less than an hour ago...
I also find that if I look at Facebook on the phone and scan down the list of posts from various friends and friends of friends, I'll sometimes see something I'm interested in. Then maybe 30 minutes later, I'll go to have another look, and the post seems to have completely disappeared, and there seems no way to find it again. It's a complete pain in the backside as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe I'm doing it all wrong, but I do not seem to be able to find a simple way of getting a consistent repeatable view of stuff that has been posted - you know, in a similar way to going back to look at (say) this forum as an example.
Any tips?
Don't get me wrong, I understand entirely why the "club" had to move off PH with its incompatible rules. It's just that for me, and by the looks of it probably a significant number of others, Facebook comes with its own set of challenges.

I have to say that despite being on Facebook (which I almost never post on and don't use very much), I also completely missed this event, even though I'm part of the Facebook Noble group. Had I seen it, there's a good chance I'd have gone along.
