Hi there,

Have a possible knackered wheel bearing on the back does anybody have a part number for for bearings on the back for the standard hub and not the uprated ones as listed on the wiki or will the bearings be the same ?.

Cheers

Chris

You will need to change both with this option. If the nut has come loose the hub wears slightly to I'd do both just to be safe, if you are retaining the hub measure it carefully.

Hi Chris.

I just replaced re hubs and bearings with the upgraded ones. They didn't quite fit so a mod was required due to uprights being slightly different on mine.

I suggest you just buy the parts from southwest lotus. They are not to expensive.

the 'upgraded ones' are actually technically a downgrade as the Hub runs a smaller OD.... they are referred as an upgrade purely as they are properly machined and true unlike noble ones lol.
Lots of cars had out of true machined uprights that caused a load of problems, solved by having decent ones.

If your noble hubs are true then just fit a new bearing (what I have done)... its a BMW E36 325 rear... same as an early porsche boxster s and a lot of 996's.
