Well the old girl has clocked over 100k now and still going well touch wood as well as I can remember her running.I expect with the mileage on the clock now I will virtually have to give her away if I sell up but sod it I bought it to use am I right in saying there was one on here with 120k plus and still going strong ?

The problem is Rob there's nothing out there similar money that gives the same driver enjoyment.Have had a few issues with car diff went at 18k its not got a lsd 2radiators exhaust manifolds failed crank sensor and coil pack replaced apart from that pretty reliable to be honest
That's not an unexpected list there Chris - for the mileage. Now if it were a Merc E200 taxi line model (sold across Europe) it would only need a few clutches and tyres before any serious work needed after 300,000 miles coolchris said:

Out of interest how many clutches have you been through?coolchris said:
She's a 2.5 2001 number 11 off the production line.Definitely had lots of fun in the car still on original clutch god knows how even original brake discs but she is due new ones lol
Wow. Proves what track days do then. Mine had no sign of a lip but started cracking so I upgraded to the AP grooved discs. A non track day car easily does 100k on the original discs - that's awesome Chris!

I'm still on the original clutch car had 16k on clock when I bought it and can't imagine it had one fitted before I bought it
I missed you had already mentioned that! That's remarkable, most cars would need a clutch by now let alone something as quick as a Noble. It really is encouraging to hear how well your car has lasted, a further testament as to just how good these cars are. Plenty of manufacturers cars built 15 years ago can fall off a cliff after 100,000 miles. I have just crossed 50,0000 so I am feeling much more relaxed about the next 50,000 now! I am just starting my 3rd year of ownership and I have done 8,000mls so far and not had a single problem with it. I don't use it in the winter and try and avoid the rain if at all possible, but even after a winter laid up come spring it starts and it picks up exactly where it left off in the summer. Its more an age related issue Lawrence that my discs need replacing soon they have a lip but not much of one.Cheers Rob for you kind comments if my car was worth half the original value id be chuffed I suppose there is a bottom limit these cars can be worth regardless of mileage plus limited numbers will keep prices firm.
