Well the old girl has clocked over 100k now and still going well touch wood as well as I can remember her running.I expect with the mileage on the clock now I will virtually have to give her away if I sell up but sod it I bought it to use am I right in saying there was one on here with 120k plus and still going strong ?

A car is built to drive and drive is what you've done! You're a long time dead, so enjoy every moment is what I say.

Blimey Chris, I almost dropped me cuppa - thought you had sold the old gal when I read the thread title!

Well done anyway. Not sure about the 120,000 miler - never heard of this myself. I thought you were the leader biggrin

Wow big milage. Has it needed any work other than routine maintenance?

That's not an unexpected list there Chris - for the mileage. Now if it were a Merc E200 taxi line model (sold across Europe) it would only need a few clutches and tyres before any serious work needed after 300,000 miles biggrin

Wow. Proves what track days do then. Mine had no sign of a lip but started cracking so I upgraded to the AP grooved discs.

A non track day car easily does 100k on the original discs - that's awesome Chris!

I missed you had already mentioned that! That's remarkable, most cars would need a clutch by now let alone something as quick as a Noble. It really is encouraging to hear how well your car has lasted, a further testament as to just how good these cars are. Plenty of manufacturers cars built 15 years ago can fall off a cliff after 100,000 miles. I have just crossed 50,0000 so I am feeling much more relaxed about the next 50,000 now! I am just starting my 3rd year of ownership and I have done 8,000mls so far and not had a single problem with it. I don't use it in the winter and try and avoid the rain if at all possible, but even after a winter laid up come spring it starts and it picks up exactly where it left off in the summer.

Not only longevity, look at depreciation.Chris's 100K miler is worth at least 50% what was paid for it new - probably more.

Exceptional product Mr. L. Noble clap

Its more an age related issue Lawrence that my discs need replacing soon they have a lip but not much of one.Cheers Rob for you kind comments if my car was worth half the original value id be chuffed I suppose there is a bottom limit these cars can be worth regardless of mileage plus limited numbers will keep prices firm.

Good going - glad the car's still behaving Chris. You're a path-finder for the rest of us... I should catch you up on mileage in only about another 25 years!

Fancy bringing her along to Wilton House on Sunday morning???
