How young can they start?

What's the youngest passenger anyone has had in a Noble?

Not a question to raise alarm bells, simply how long do I have to wait before my little boy can come with me in the Noble?

Haven't found the isofix yet!

But then there's the question of which way the seat should face. I think it's recommended they face backwards until the child is 2-3 years old, in which case brutal acceleration might be a pain in the neck!

This is true but they would be in a baby seat not a child seat. Didn't want to try fitting a baby seat so waited until he was in a toddler seat

Hopefully you explained to your son the difference between and grab handle and a handbrake lol. That could get ugly

He did look at me and hold handbrake and said "This...." lol

It would only be an issue if the ha brake actually did anything.

I don't know about the youngest sitting in, but I give up Sunday's to instruct at the Under-17 Car club (http://under17-carclub.co.uk/) it's for children from 11-17 where they learn to drive in a safe environment off road (Castle Combe, Dunsfold, Bovington, Kempton Park etc.), they have to work through grades receiving instruction, have to do motorway simulated driving, night driving, skid pan courses, skill tests, theory papers, they have to get first aid qualified and all drive a wide variety of things from buses, lorries, other cars at the events - I've had plenty of them all experience driving the Noble quickly in a safe place from aged 11.....

OMG that sounds epic. And very well structured too. I really wish I had the chance to participate in something like that when I was a youngster.

Got 7 years to wait but will definitely do this at dunsfold as not far from there.

Open day at Castle Combe on 2nd April if anyone has any kids aged between 11 and 15 that want to learn to drive.....
