This month's Evo magazine is now out and with an article about the latest incarnation of the M600. I've bought it (not the M600!), but for beach reading over half term, so tried not to take a peak to find out how it went!

The test with EVO went very well.
They absolutely loved the car and wanted to use it for the Car of The Year test, indicating that it would of had a podium finish!
Great car!

Ruttboy.

Why didn't they then?

Hi Andrew, sorry for the delay in answering.

Unfortunately the car is not quite signed off yet, still in its development phase so Noble were not ready to hand it over before they are fully happy with it before handing it to EVO to drive the wheels off it for a week.
Personally, I found the car requires final tuning with the paddleshift gearbox, namely when approaching traffic and slowing down, the auto down change is not smooth yet, and shunts through the drive train more than you would expect or be happy with, so I can understand their reasons and support this.
However, the performance of the car, and the way the gearbox works at speed is spectacular and the Speedster will be epic once it's finished!

Cheers,

Alan.
