I was approached by a chap today whilst filling up for a blast who wanted a photo because his mate has just bought a convertible M12. He said it was very rare and in purple. As far as I was aware there was only 1 show car (non road legal) GTC variant and it was yellow?

Any knowledge on the GTC?

The one off GTC was cut up so there is no such car.

Salica Racing (or something like that) did a revised body for the M12, it was a convertible and ugly.

He was probably reefing to an M10 rather than M12.... you can certainly see the heritage

I would have said M10 - theres a blue one around, not purple though.

Good knowledge as always chaps. Steve I recall a blue M10 convertible at the Jetstream meet. Perhaps he meant that one!

I've known people talking about Nobles when it's actually been an Ultima. They're right in so far as they're close relations.
