Hi folks,

Couple of questions on the original wheels on the 2.5 and 3 (not 3R) cars:

1) Noble says they are 8.5" wide (front) and 10" wide (rear). I measured mine from outer edge to outer edge and they are 1" wider: 9.5 and 11. Standard dimension tyres are fitted (225 front and 265 rear) and they don't look "stretched". Is this normal? Am I measuring in the wrong way? Has anyone ever measured their wheels?

2) one of the rear rims is damaged. I may need to look for a replacement. Am I right that these wheels are no longer produced and therefore hard to find? What would you reckon will one (probably used) rear rim cost?
Alternatively I might choose to sell the other three and get myself some Compomotive Wheels, so question is what I could get for the three.

Thanks for some thoughts on the above questions which will make it easier for me to take the right decisions now and get replacements that are the same size than my wheels today.

Thanks, Leo

Quick addition, just found a rear wheel In the bay for 350 GBP. So question now is: Is that a good price?
Other questions on dimensions remain open, thanks for advice.

8.5 wheels are 9 inch measured that's normal you can add half an inch to any width wheel.

I think I have 1 spare GTO3 rear alloy, which owes me a lot less than that. Will double check tomorrow, and PM you with details.

Also worth considering if you are going down the new wheels route are NobleRacingWheels ( facebook page or PH For Sale Page). I'm currently running these, they are lighter than the stock wheels which seems to improve the dynamics of the car in my opinion..

OK, received a replacement wheel meanwhile and it has exactly the same width.
Thanks to everyone, especially to Phil for the mega fast turn-around.
From initial post here on PH to arrival of wheel in Germany: 5 days! 😄

Cheers, Leo

For future reference - wheel widths are measured inside the rims where the tyre bead would sit.
