Noisy tappet, or is it?

When I picked the carup from the detailer I though there was a slight new noise. Sounded like a sticky tappet coming from the inlet cam on the left bank at number 6 end.

Found this TSB for our engine.

It basically mentions the kind of noise and a remedy is to fully remove all the intake camshaft caps and then refit all but number 8 and torque them down. Then fit number 8 loosely and using 2 screwdrivers push it towards the exhaust side and torque it down too.

Took me about an hour this morning and seems to have cured the noise. Happy Mark.
