You can just about see down to the valves so that looks clear. Lifted it and put it over the ecu area while I did the plugs as the throttle cable was still attatched. It's vanished completely though.
I had exactly the same happen to me recently, def didn't go down the inlet but wasn't anywhere to be seen... fortunately i have a few spare sets of these gaskets so i didn't have to be ripped off at the ford garage lolPM'd you back.
Picked up the one I ordered from Ford today and there is 2 in the packet. Happy days.
On a side note, had a great day at Blyton park yesterday. Nice little track although I was in a low powered car.

Sorry for the timing. Was going to update my spread sheet of "part-numbers I have read about, but don't need yet", with the 4097111 part-number when I found I already had an entry with a slightly different part number.
I have not used it personally, but I show Part # ms19341 will also work.
