Clam Fastenings.
Discussion
With the help of Speciality Fasteners I have been sourcing replacements for the quarter turn fixings in the clams.
It's been quite complicated to identify the items required, but I now have all the part numbers and current pricings for various options. These fixings are of excellent quality, with fixed 'T' pins rather than the push in ones which tend to move around after a while. The only slight downside to changing to these is that once you have removed the old stud by pulling the 'T' pin out, you need to file a small slot in the existing grommet to allow you to install the new stud. This takes a couple of minutes using a rat-tailed file - see picture. The upside is you can just change the phillip's headed stud or the stud and recepticle as you please. The recepticles on the car are threaded M4 on the front clip but riveted in on the rear. If you want to follow the same installation you will need an M4 drill and tap. Alternatively, rivet the front ones on as well. Unfortunately they do not seem to have anything to replace the outer chrome grommets.
I would also recommend purchasing a set of their D4002 Series stud installation pliers (Product Code 4P3-1) as it makes life much easier removing and installing the studs. The downside is that they are bloody expensive!!
I have had the sets priced as below, but bear in mind that there is a £5 +Vat carriage charge or all orders and for individual parts there's a £20 + Vat minimum order value.

To just change the front and rear studs using the existing recepticles, purchase the requisite number of D4055-7AGV studs and 4002-SW-SS Retainers (slot existing grommet with rat-tail file).
To change the front and rear studs and recepticles use D40S5-12AGV studs, 4002-SW-SS Retainers (slot existing grommet with rat-tail file) and D214-16FGV recepticle.
Always order a few shims as you're bound to need them if you dont!
