Trying to rig up a permanent feed from the fuse box in the foot well for my dash cam. I've bought one that has a 'piggy back' fuse carrier, so it should be simple enough. I was planning on using the first fuse on the left, which I assume is probably 5a? I've no idea what it's for as I have no handbook. Then there's the issue of connecting the other lead to earth. Where's that in the foot well?
On another note, what's the big ribbed item in the left of the picture? And why is there a relay missing with a by pass instead? So many questions!
