Had a new pair fitted to the rear of my car today. They look terrific with a slight curve to the sidewall, almost like a motorcycle tyre (less pronounced of course). My old Assym 2s were well past their best so it's hard to be objective but the car feels fantastic on these even before they are run in. Anyone else had these yet? I think they are fairly new?

I am a big fan of Assym 2's so if these are better they will be a very good tyre.

Had a full set of these fitted 3 weeks ago £442 fitted- bargain! Well impressed with them so far, dam sight better than the crap S02's I had previously, road use only though. I 'm running 26/18 psi, what pressures do people run on? I'm assuming a bit of variety!

Blimey that's cheap. I paid £360 just for the rears.

I run 20/30 but that's a 400. Your pressures are exactly as recommended but you know that.

I couldn't believe the deal neither! £75.75 for fronts, £118.35 rears plus £13.96 p&p bought 12th March from Camskill, then a local tyre fitter £40 cash to fit- even put nitrogen in em!

I had a set fitted last week. I bought them from tyre leader, £400 from memory, and paid £50 to have them fitted. I'm really impressed with them. Less road noise and seem to grip well, although I haven't pushed them to much yet.

Yeah, great grip and really progressive when it does start to slide. I agree, very quiet. They feel expensive, which of course in my case they were frown

I have read a couple of reviews that suggest the tyre wall is chunky & doesn't look as low profile as AS2, also that there is limited rim protector compared to AS2.
Some suggest not as planted feel and increased understeer ?
perhaps a more "comfort" orientated tyre ?

Any comments guys ? I was aiming to buy AS2's until I started looking at the 3's. Im confused now

I had to change my rears the other day I went for F1 asym 2's on the rear as fronts are asy 2's and fairly new. Was advised not to put 3's on the back as it's a slightly different pattern and they are over 1kg lighter than the 2's

Ive done some more research and 3's do sound good, lighter but stronger & a better contact patch. They apparently expand the contact blocks when you brake to give you a bigger footprint in the rain.

Im still not sure which to go for, but in reality I think both are a good option
