Looking back from the original page (756) on this forum, makes for some quite interesting reading. The M12 hadn't yet made it onto the market, but orders were being taken and reviews turning up. There was some very definite excitement building as some of the guys were counting the days before delivery etc. Clarkson was being quoted, and the Noble Moy relationship was already legendary.
Being aware that the OPs had no idea how this car was going to evolve etc. makes it all the better. Worth having a look when you have some spare time.
