Hi, I am now the proud new owner of a red gto3. I've been keeping an eye on them for a while but I finally decided to take the plunge and I got her home on Friday.

It's fairly standard as far as I can see apart from the pro-alloy intercooler (I think), track day sump and LSD.

I've got a couple of things planned already (m400 gear linkage upgrade, new wheel and snap off boss)

Is there anything else you guys can recommend upgrading or just having a look at to make sure everything is fine? I plan to get booked into jetstream in the next couple of weeks for a service.

What Facebook group do you use? Ive sent a request to the m10,m12,m400, m600 owners one but it's not been accepted.

Do you know where I can get hold of a workshop manual?

Where is the best place to source parts? I noticed some talk of a noble parts website but can't find it.

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance.

Ps. I'm based in Lincolnshire

Hi - welcome! Im also an owner of a red gto3, but mines monza red.

Sounds like you have three of the main things, lsd, sump and intercooler.

Fuel pump wiring is a bit thin and needs an upgrade. If your going to Jetstream you are in good hands.

Facebook group is the one you mention, its managed by three owners so im sure they will get around to adding you.

Regarding parts, most can be got through Jetstream, Bespoke, Kerridges etc.

South West lotus centre has an online store with lots of m12 parts available.

Third party suppliers are:
Proalloy:
intercooler (which you have)
Oil breather - a must if not upgraded already

Others
You can get carbon bits, larger wing uprights etc from various owners when they are available.

They are great cars and im sure you will have a great time with it!

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks, I just had a quick look at south west lotus. They seem to have a decent selection of parts.

How will I know if I have an original or pro alloy breather?

Does anyone know where you can buy the rear light inner covers? Someone has made a mess of one of them.

The gear gator has seen better days too.

The original oil breater is just in front of the intercooler. The standard steel one is black and has a hose coming out of the top of it. The pro alloy one will be alloy or black alloy but stanped proalloy on the top.

The original rusts and then you risk getting crap in the engine. WhenI took mine off it was like a maracca!!

Thanks, I will definitely look at changing that then.

I take it the tunnel mod just lets cooling air into the centre tunnel? Or am I way off?

Sorry we get a lot of requests from people who just randomly join the group to sell stuff like sunglasses etc so its hard to filter out the genuine requests like yours... I just accepted 2 Ryans, hopefully one of them is you smile

Cheers. Yeah that's the one, was watching it for a while and emailing him every now and again.

I going to try not to get the modding bug too badly. :-)
