A collective WELCOME to all the recent new owners, it's great to see enthusiastic new owners joining the Nobility, you're in for an amazing ownership experience, I've had mine for 5 years now and just as committed to the marque as the day I took delivery
Mine's presently down at Jetstream (highly recommended) for it's annual Service MOT and whatever else it needs, and looking forward to picking it up ready for the Spring.
You will find a wealth of information on here which has proved in-valuable to all owners over the years, the depth of knowledge never ceases to amaze, ENJOY.

Could not agree more, much as I have always dreamed of owning one of these cars, I don't think I would have had the courage or be able to sleep so easy without the continual back up and attention provided by this forum, especially those who have such great experience of these cars. You have a problem and you can almost certainly find the solution here - where else can you get that kind of (free) advice and help. It's wonderful that so many put in this level of effort for the benefit of others, like myself (who cannot really contribute in this manner as yet). That's not to mention the social angle either. I for one am grateful to you all - not mentioning any names but you know who you are!

Here here, well saidWelcome indeed. I've owned mine for two years virtually. May not sound much but as sjc will tell you, my car ownership average is measured in weeks or months, this doubles my record and honestly if someone offered me £20k more than I paid, Id still have no idea what to replace it with.
Hi Folks. Bought mine in October, drove it for 3 days before the first failure ! its been on axle stands ever since. Its a lovely low miles car with a new engine, but the car never enjoyed the kind of TLC that these cars need, so im going thru it to make sure its all up together. So far:
new starter motor
new relays
3 coolant leaks
1 oil leak
rear chassis & A-arms treated and painted
All heatproof material replaced
Diffuser refurbed
light bulbs (more importantly rusty contacts)
fuel pump wiring
dump valve
etc etc etc etc.....
Hoping to get her back on the road in February, MOT and then a Trevor Jasper session to smooth the map at some point.
The PH & Facebook owners have been invaluable in helping me learn my way around this unique car
Im hoping I have dealt with most of the issues in the winter, leaving me a nice season ahead.

Once you realize it's actually a very simple car to work on, you start getting very brave on what you can and can't mend. I've had my Noble for under a year... and I've done entirely way more than anyone ever should on their Noble, let alone on most cars within the first year of ownership.

Blimey , if ever there was an advert to not get obsessed with low miles on these cars it's right there .new starter motor

I have had mine a year now, done just short of 4,000 miles and it hasn't missed a beat, It a 3r with 45,000 miles on the clock, but a history showing a lot of the mods/work people believe to be desirable having been done. At the time of buying I was worried about the relatively high mileage, but the more I read the forums the more I was persuaded to try and put this to one side and concentrate on the history. It is difficult to dismiss this prejudice however, it is only natural to believe a low mileage car is a better proposition, especially when you don't understand the vagaries of the car.

Had mine coming up for two years now, just a fantastic car! Wasn't bothered by mileage but reading this forum soon helped identify the desirable mods. I bought the first one I looked at and it hasn't missed a beat, mind you the previous owner had put some serious money into the car! I really can't imagine selling it - roll on the summer.
A lot of the stuff I am doing is to get the car up to my standard, unfortunately there are very few cars on the market and once ive got this car looking mint & original, It will be superb with low mileage as a bonus. engines done less than 5k.
That said, I would of looked at any car under 60k miles. The low hours on the engine was the temptation but I always knew it would create teathing problems.
I enjoy fettling with the car, so I knew whatever I bought would become a TLC project over the winter. I'm mainly trying to future-proof the car. Chassis protection to prevent any rust, electrical connections cleaned and ACF50 to stop fuse & relay contact failures.
