Its time for some slicker tyres and I want to go for a bit more rubber, I will probably go for Federal RSR's but instead of 265/35/18 I was looking at 285/30/18 and instead of 225/40/18 I wanted 245/35/18 for the front.
Has anyone else done this and if so are there any issues at all.

Many thanks

Andy

Well I have 235's on the front on 9 inch rims with no issues although I believe some have had the inside catching on full lock with this set up . Can't help you with the rears sorry.

Federal RSR by a few accounts aren't much faster on the Noble. Tyre of choice seems to be Pilot Cup 1 I think, although I never had anything but P-Zeros on track and they were plenty quick enough.

I use Avon ZZRs and absolutely love them. It's the (road legal) race series tyre for the Evoras in Lotus Cup UK. And we use the same size.
