I made one of my seats last xmas and have made the matching seat over this Xmas break... I designed this seat from scratch myself.

The seats are made with and inter and outer section bonded together with structural adhesive, they are solid carbon reinforced with Kevlar in places.... for the the headrest I used a combination of spread tow and V weave carbon purely for aesthetics and to make them look different to anything else.

Due to time constraints as it needs to be ready for Dispaying at Autosport in a couple of days I have not full finished the seats, they both need a lot more time spent lacquering them (one has no lacquer at all yet) and some attention getting the leather a little better... but I don't think they are bad for an amateur smile

For me they are the most comfortable' lightweight' seat I have sat in even over long distances... they are more comfortable and better hugging than the original GT03 seats I had originally which was my original goal.... they are a little lighter than stock GT03 seats, and a lot lighter than M400 ones, and they are stiffer, not bad imo for a first attempt at designing and making a seat even if i say so myself. I am quite proud of them smile

You should be proud too, they are amazing - and as to getting away with having them in the kitchen..... I get grief just having the clams in the conservatory....
