BOV open at idle ?

Hi Folks

I have just fitted my new Forge BOV with yellow spring to my 3R - It is remaining open at idle, is this normal ?

It makes sense as the throttle plate will be closed and the vacuum will be strong. But do they all do this ?

If it helps anyone else I contacted FORGE who tell me its a dual piston valve with an outer silver piston that lifts at idle but the inner boost piston should stay shut, its a nylon black one.
