Where is this located? When the hot water valve was changed the mechanic couldn't find it and I just want to make sure there is no air in the system, what's the best proceedure to do this? Many Thanks.

I didn't know it had one, I just jack up the back, take the pressure cap off and leave it overnight

If you have access to a compressor a vacuum purge kit is brilliant for cars like ours with long coolant runs.

I've not seen a coolant air bleed point on the Noble either

When I had mine serviced at Jetstream and a new upgraded radiator fitted ,Dave did remark that they don't suffer from air locks that much and I am sure he left a front hose loose to purge the system on refill and initial running .

I have to say I have not topped the coolant up since so all good ,I had a 911 prior to this and like the Noble rads are along way from the engine and that was an absolute nightmare to purge.

the level on my pro alloy header tank seems to go up and down like a donkey's d**k is that due to air in the system and it leaks from the overflow pipe ( i presume that can be solved with the stant pressure cap )

Mine leaked too until I upgraded the cap to the Stant cap.
Level should always be half way up the sight glass when cold, when running it is usually well above the sight glass.

So i fill it up to half on the sight glass and use the the car , then come back to the car after a few days and it's still well above the sight glass. Then drive it again and then after a few days it's right down below the sight glass . ( no leaks on visible pipes ) cant't work it out ?

(apologies to JCERB for the mini hijack)
