Heat shield material
Discussion
Sure someone more knowledgeable than me will come along but i'll try to help in the interim
I got a big sheet of this stuff;
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/heat-shie...
To do my heater box as that's what the majority of recommendations I got were.
That said, would be rather expensive to try do all the floor parts in that so not sure what alternatives there are for that? I know lots of people seem to use that gold look sheet?

Hi, when I did mine I bought this from Demon Tweeks - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/heat-shie... and some heat resistant glue from ebay, it exactly matches the original and can be ordered in sq.mt. sheets. Cheers, Steve
This was the glue I used... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HEAVY-DUTY-HIGH-TEMPERAT...

Great info Steve! I'm replacing the rear clam & diffuser heat shield material at the moment and was just looking through eBay to try to find an equivalent for the Noble stuff.Just one question, do you remember what thickness sheeting you used?
I see it is available in 0.4, 0.7, or 1.6mm thicknesses.
Cheers,
David.

Hi David, I bought it 0.7 from memory, I'll check when I get home, I found the best results by turning the edges, using contact adhesive on the overlap and running it through the wife's sewing machine (made sure she was out...)to give a new edge before sticking the pieces on.
