Hi all, my intercooler box is not in the best shape and I need a replacement, can someone please tell me what my options are.

Remove box yourself
rub down and spray with matt black
You will be surprised how well it comes up.
Use new self tapping black screws.
Nice little job that can be done over weekend.

Hi Steve, I wish it was that easy, mine for some reason has been butchered and really needs replacing

It's inly sheet material, choose what to make the new one out of and use the old one as a template , C/F being the obvious choice

If you are looking to have a metal one rebuilt, I'm sure a HVAC duct shop would do a nice job if you provided them with the metal of choice. Otherwise carbon turns out good. I had this built by a guy that builds carbon airplane parts, he installed heat shielding below it as well.
