Hi Folks

I want to take some body colour to the paint man to match up a spray for me, so i can touch up the inner wheel arch area that gets chipped.

I want to remove the wing mirror cover, how do i do this without breaking clips ?
Is it just a squeeze & pull ? screwdriver leverage ?

Easy or Hard to achieve without breaking anything ?

Thanks

they are a screwdriver lever removal, look under the mirror and you should see the lever position.... Not that hard really and shouldn't break.

Are your wing end plates body colour? if so that will also be easy to remove... just make sure the part you take off is actually representative of the body colour, sometimes these parts are sprayed separately and are a very slightly different shade to the actual car but because they are not right against it you never notice.

Andy - thats great thanks. The end plates might work too

colour doesnt need to be perfect as im using it on the inner wheel arch lip and under the rear clam behind the back wheel, just where stone chips have done their thing, so i want a close colour but its not that visible.
