Hi

The soundproofing on the rear bulkhead below the rear window is pretty knackered on my car and the original Noble 3 piece kit is out of stock.

Has anyone used alternatives ?
I was considering using some Dynamat as its soundproof & heatproof - Has anyone else done this ?
Are there any alternatives you can suggest ?
Anyone got a replacement Noble 3 piece kit I can buy ?

Thanks
Giles

How does that provide soundproofing !
Ive still got the heatproof base layer under the soundproofing.Im tempted to leave it with just that, I can't beleive a 4" high strip of matting can do an awful lot

It doesn't, are you really telling me that you bought a Noble and your worried about cabin noise?

This might be more work than you had in mind. I used insulating rigid foam covered by aluminized fiberglass cloth.

I reworked the reflective heat shield when I insulated my fuel tank. The tunnel opening is close to sealed now.

No not at all, but I don't know if it "needs" heat protection in that area

Did you have the engine out for some other reason, or did you take it out specifically for this upgrade? That's an insanely nice job.

Doesn't having that hole open help with reducing air pressure in the cabin?
