Does anyone know of this car: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/n...

The picture they're using of the rear of the car without the clam is of mine. I don't even get what they're trying to achieve here as the cars have different pipes and the body is even different in colour. If it's someone here, can you take it down? Cheers!

That's a bit odd isn't it? Why would someone do that? Some shots have grey/black wheels others silver.

Otherwise looks like a lovely example!

I have photos showing different colour wheels - taken at different times obviously. Could be a date taken thing.

Good point - my error, the listing talks about both different sets.

It's a nice car , the owner emailed me pictures and seeme to be genuine. You would have to view of course to see if all ties in.

The seller got in touch and seemed legit. It does look like a great car. Good luck with the sale.

I bought this in 2007 and owned it for a couple of years. I put the private plate on. Great car and would have kept it longer if I didn't have to sell it to start a business venture. Was totally reliable apart from breaking down once with a dead battery, Was pretty much standard but well maintained by a specialist dealer. Now running a 911 996 x50 turbo. Different In almost every possible way to the noble! Always lurking on the noble forum though to keep an eye on things. Good to see prices firming up over the last couple of years.

yes I've often tried to compare mine but it's not possible so I gave up.

I honestly can't say Johnscratchchin. I've tried to compare the two (997 Turbo BTW) many times but every time I give up as said.

It depends what you want - Outrageous speed and acceleration? Comfort? A 365 day all weather car? A car that thinks snow is fun? Looks (you decide)?

I will report this though - when the Noble reaches 150 its clearly hitting the wall but the Pork is only breaking a sweat and keeps pushing you in the back up to sillyspeed (all on track of course officer). They are evens up to say 90 though.

Also owned both, the Noble wins by some distance for the fun and looks factor. 996T 911 is a very nice car and appreciating now just like the M12.

I've owned a 997T as well. Teutonic build quality and astonishing performance. But lacks the sense of occasion, fun, noise and all-round plucky character of the Noble.

I chopped in the Porsche for something else but have never thought of selling the Noble. Might be different though if it was a daily drive rather than weekend toy.

A few of the photos were taken @ SWLC (where mine seems to have taken root!!) so I suspect they got the photos mixed if (your from Devon so thinking yours has been there??) you have had some work done there.

Seems there are more Nobles in Devon than what I thought, Kevin, Giles, one in Bow, you and myself. There was one in Plymouth, not sure if this was the one. If I ever get mine back we will need to sort out a meet up.
