Hi,

Thanks for all your responses on my last post, very informative and therefore i'm getting closer to taking the next step.

But, who to use for Insurance? Are there any Noble Friendly Insurance Brokers out there?

I'm 25 but have had 2 extremely fast cars in the past, both Caterhams, 1 R500 and 1 240bhp VX Caterham, both produced over 500bhp per tonne !! And i still have a full NCB !

I'm hoping this will help towards a descent premium.......

Thanks guys in advance.

I am 25 too and have found Direct Line to be the cheapest (I believe Tescos is slightly cheaper still)....

Strangly, my Cerby was the cheapest car I have insured (except for my Mundano.... )

And something that baffles more is that my previously owned Vito van cost £300 more a year than the Noble!

The only downer is the Direct Line don't cover me for track days....

Get the Noble.... you won't look back.

When I swithched cars from a Mitsubishi 3000 GTO twin turbo to the Noble 3R I also changed insureres, from Direct Line to Tesco. Unbelievable! £200 cheaper for a car that's twice as quick and was worth 9 times more!

Martin.

PS - ever wondered what a speeding ticket does to your insurance? Adds £103:50p. That's what it does!

I've had the privilege!
.... damn, i watch too much telly!

They're the same company as direct line though, so I doubt their price would be any different!

I'm currently with Tesco but will be changing to Competition Car Insurance in the next few weeks.

Note that their cover includes 4 Track Days and considering a single track day can cost up to £400 it's good value IMHO.

Oddly, they do have different prices. Sometimes markedly different. Always worth asking the question.

FWIW here's a tip: When the insurance company give you the quote always say you've had a better quote and ask if they can they improve on theirs. On past experience this saves about 50 quid and works with Direct Line/Privelige/Norwich Union.

Of course if they say "what's a Noble?" it limits the scope for haggling.

Agreed. I know an ex Direct Line sales person who said that all their call centre staff (at that time)had discretion to give up to 10% off renewal premiums (not new business), and would put you on hold for a few seconds while they "ask the supervisor".

You could try speaking to Bespoke performance or Mole Valley , they might put you in the right direction.

Or give Competition Car Insurance a bell as they seem to insure all sorts.
