Who uses their M12 as a DD?
Discussion
Not an owner myself (its one of the dream cars though!) and they're in budget for what I'm about to spend on my next car... As much as I'd love one, I'm not going to buy one, so don't try to convince me
Just out of curiosity, how does the M12 fare as a daily drive 12 months year? Costs, reliability etc? I'm just wondering really!

Ran mine as my company car for nearly 2 years when I bought it, did over 30k in that time as I travel a lot for the job and it was all round UK and some of Europe....
Car was serviced at noble dealer at allocated times and was kept 100% stock, wasn't tracked.... It was 100% reliable, was very comfortable on long drives (my car still is and I can and have done 10hr stints non stop with only brief 5 min refuels even with its current spec).
It was cheaper to run than the BMW E36 M3 it replaced as my co car and was MASSIVELLY cheaper to run than the M5 e60 that replaced it.
Of cause this was 6 years ago and the car had 11k on the clock when I bought it.... Now the cars are 10year plus old so like other cars lots of parts have aged or worn an issues cream in even to mint examples.
Mine only had reliability issues when I modified it upping the power lol

Similarly to Andy mine was my only car for 2 years, from 2008-2010, but back then the car was only 4-6 years old. Was 100% reliable back then. Only started having issues when I started upping the power and doing track days really.
As said, even the youngest of these cars are approaching 10 years old now, so a lot of parts will be ready for replacing if not already done so.

Mine gets used for mundane tasks quite a lot nowadays just because it's fun to do it. As long as they're well sorted there's no reason not to, they're very easy to drive and there is some space inside for shopping and such. I have another car for very short journeys and general tooling around but if that went I'd be confident in the Noble to get me about if necessary.

Add to which, the fuel consumption isn't bad if you are being sensible.
Use mine every day, but was low mileage when I bought it and I decided to do ALL of the work replacing/upgrading everything beforehand, - now 380bhp reliable daily, probably wouldn't have the motivation to go to work otherwise! Garage work is done Dec-Mar though as the AD08s don't like it too wet

My Noble is my daily driver unless I'm doing one of my endless upgrades. It has never left me stranded in 5+ years of ownership except for one blown fuse, which was my fault, and a failed Fuelab fuel pump, which was their fault. The only penalty I pay for driving it is getting to the office early enough to get a prime parking space.

Ditto what everyone else has said. I have had mine for around 8 years and has been faultless.
I have replaced items to ensure it's reliability and have not upgraded it's power so it remains reliable for me.
But I have ensured that it is serviced and well looked after. Driven around France with my wife for 2 weeks with luggage and was more comfortable than my other cars!
The only think I would say is that if you are running it 12 months a year you really want to be careful with salt on the roads and corrosion. I got my chassis treated with wax oil and I don't take it out during those periods.
So far it has been the cheapest car I have had to run!
