So my insurer tells me I'm entitled to a like for like car while mine is in the process of being written off or repaired. What do you think they'll offer? Boxster S? Evora? Exige? I'm really not sure what would be in the M12 category.

Something sporty... You might get an F-type. Failing that a mid-90s V6 Mondeo Saloon.

On paper the Exige S looks very similar to what the M12 offered in its day, even down to price-point.
Similar engine displacement, albeit supercharged rather than twin turbo. Similar power and performance specs.

What's the betting they offer a TT or S2000. Something NOT like a Noble.

Hmm, If this is not offered, maybe I'll ask for one!

I would refuse the courtesy car if you don't need it as this will add to the value of your claim.
That may keep your car on the repairable side of the total claim.
