Hi, not having much luck at the mo!

Started car this morning to go and have the bearings/hubs changed (thanks for all the help with that), and it stopped straight after firing up.

Electrics still working, turns over fine but fuel primer noise now gone when turning ignition on.

Checked and changed fuses in engine bay near battery but it didn't solve it.

Is there a way to check if the problem is the fuel pump itself or are there any other possibilities/things I can check?

Thanks
Sam

has yours had the fuel pump wiring upgrade ? there should be an inline fuse somewhere if the feed was taken from the battery that's worth checking . Only other thing I know is to check fuel pump relay at the bulkhead as they can get corroded .

I had something very similar, ignition on and alarm off I could hear one relay clicking in but no pump priming, it was the wiring that had been fitted for the fuel pump mod with an in-line fuse, once that was replaced I could hear one relay then the other click and got the fuel pump back. Steve

Thanks guys, yes I can hear only one click too. I'll have another look for the in-line fuse.
Any tips or a pic as to where exactly it might be located?!

No luck locating any other related fuses.
Looks like going to have to ship it to Leicester and will get a few things done while there.
Uship has been mentioned, might try them, unless anyone knows someone who is good value and can do London to Leicester?
Couple of nice Nobles whipping round next to the Top Gear track today at the Supercar Event. Gutted wasn't on there with them.

if you remove the passenger side rear wheel then the arch inner you will find the fuel pump , from there you should be a able to trace a fuse , also give the bulkhead relays a wiggle to see if that helps !!

As Tux says- get the fuel pump in sight then just follow the wire to find the fuse.
