...I blew a coolant hose!
Came out this morning ready to sort the final little niggles and clean her before Rockingham tomorrow and guess what...a great puddle of coolant. Eventually traced it to a 2ft hose that had been rubbing on the starter solenoid. Managed to find someone who would sell me a length of 10mm/19mm hose and it seems to be fixed for now, but the real test is 163 miles to Rockingham and a full track day. Wish me luck!

I did indeed! It looks like my DIY fix held, so I may have a bit of time to sort out getting it properly fixed. With how tight everything in the engine bay is I think it'll most likely start rubbing on something soon if I don't get it permanently sorted. Still, it survived the day, which is more than can be said for my old knackered tyres...
