Anyone had a new alarm fitted?

Apparently mine has given up the ghost which means it won't lock and hence is stuck at Jetstream until I can find a way to sort it. Matt mentioned other people had new alarms fitted in the past, any idea who and where?

The locking/unlocking isn't the alarm is it? I realise the door locking arms the alarm. Have you checked the blipper batteries and performed a factory reset?

I had a new alarm, went for a cobra, much better imo

I do have some 'original' alarm parts lying around i would donate, but you would have to come and collect as I'm even busier than usual and would never get round to posting it lol

I put a Clifford 500 on mine...when I had a load of work done on it years ago, wired it to the head lights windows etc. great alarm system and fully programmable.

I would indeed hope that Dave checked the battery, yes. Apparently something's blowing fuses and alarm boxes left, right and centre. There's a short somewhere obviously but I think Jetstream don't have any more alarm boxes. I've found a place in Birmingham who reckon they can do it anyway.
