symptoms of faulty lambda sensor?

have had the front manifold off, now I have replaced the car won't start (was running fine). wondering if the lambda sensor could cause this non starting if it got damaged during the removal refit process? is there anyway to test?

have checked relays, all good, however I only have 9V at the fuel pump. am doing the fuel pump wring upgrade now.

it's unlikely that it would stop it starting, only scenario I can think of is a dead short dragging the ECU down, check that you haven't pinched a wire
