Hi everyone,

Thought I'd ask here out of interest if anyone knows of any rolling shell M12's about minus engine and box, etc? I used to have a M12 and considered doing a conversion but in the end couldn't bring myself to butcher it so I restored it instead. I miss the car but fancy building something a bit different this time if anyone knows of anything?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. From what I've seen the asking prices don't seem to be much less even when on the register. I know it's a long shot trying to find one minus engine and box but no harm in putting the feelers out there.. I'm in no rush (with other projects to finish first haha) so maybe something will come up and hopefully I'll get steered towards it.

Hi Andy,

Plans are mainly to convert the engine and box to most likely a turbo 3.2 V6 VAG lump with 6 speed box circa 600bhp. No real plans for the body other than making it nice and shiny but definetely upgrade the interior.
I don't suppose I'll find anything anytime soon but worth a try

Would there not be some major body adjustments required to fit the 3.2 vag lump & box?

sounds cool, I'm planning to scratch build a chassis and fit a bmw V10 with sequential porsche box, will probably be slightly less power than what you plan though.... you do know we are running over 700bhp with the ford V6 now? whats the reason for going VAG V6?

V6 or VR6? The VR6 might be a bit too long but sounds fking cool.
