After years of struggling with jacks blocks of wood n bricks iv finally found a lift
that will fit the garage.
Was going to go with a scissor lift but decided that this new four poster from Automotech was what I needed.http://www.automotechservices.co.uk/products/4t36s-mobile-4-post-parking-lift/

Steve

Will you have the new gadget to possibly lift my Nob, by the end of April? I should have my TDS by then and it would be soooooooo much easier on a four poster😀😀

I don't really understand what's mobile about it? Are they saying you can move the whole thing in one piece and relocate it or its collapsible or what?

I just think it's suggesting that u can un bolt it from the floor and then using their wheel kit provided u can move it?

Looks good value.

If the bolts are in a plate that gets cemented into the floor, then i would do it sub flush so once un bolted u could put a plate with holes in it over the top and u have a flat floor again?

Don't think I will be moving it around tbh.
Its the only one around I can see that's only 2.2 mtrs high n 3.6 in length.
Great to be able to store two cars in garage as well.

I too have looked into this ramp, I believe. It's regarded as mobile because you don't have to bolt to the floor to use it. Which is why I'm interested in it because I would wheel it out onto my drive to be able to put my van on it if need be.

If you go on YouTube & put in something like mobile 4 post lift it shows a guy putting a car on the lift then raising it on its castors & wheeling the ramp & car around his yard.

Thank you Bondy for putting that on, would of done it if I could work a computer!

These are possibly also a better option for residential garage because a 2 poster lift requires I believe a minimum 150mm concrete base for strength, my garage floor is right on that limit so not sure I want to risk it not being strong enough.
