I picked up the Noble today and had a great 100 mile trip home ,fantastic. The car looked great when I picked it up, paint work and wheels polished.

However when I got home it need a wash ,this got me thinking there are quite a few vents and grills on the car and I didn't feel inclined to either rinse it like I normally would .

Question is how do you guy's clean your Noble? Thanks in advance.

Sponge and hot water if really bad , rinse with hose not pressure washer , failing that a wipe over with a detailing spray if just dust ect !

Rinse with a hose just don't directly spray it in the rear bonnet vents. A few years back (back when I had motivation) I did a big wash which included rinsing a good few times and water got in with the spark plugs.

Never not started since though and I let it get hot after washing to hopefully burn off any water that's sitting on the engine.

After washing, I always go for a run 'round the block' to blow away any trapped water and dry off the brakes as well.

I use a go kart cover to cover all the engine. Then wash. And take the cover off. Then the engine stays dry

I just take it out when it rains then just chuck it back in the garage to dry.

The engine is pretty waterproof, they cope with being left outside all year round so a bit of water from a wash doesn't hurt them smile

Yep, when I first got mine I looked at the vents when I got the hose pipe out for the first time and had the same concerns, but I just tried not to point it straight at them and have never had any problems, even though some of the water does run through them.

Now I just don't worry at all and still have no problems.

I run my car so its hot before I start and have never had a problem using a pressure washer, I just make sure I dont spray ditectly on the vents or side pods.

I just let Bespoke wash mine every time it goes in so it's normally washed about once every week.

Silver stripes? If so yes, I take it in dirty and it comes back clean. Worlds most expensive car wash service.

Have always jet washed mine no prob. Only area for me to be careful is under screen. Even though I hav a drip tray, water can still get into the alarm.

An enthusiastic bucket of water over the front clam once got right in the alarm, setting it off constantly. After 20 minutes battling with it, taking it for a drive was the only cure. How I never got pulled over I have no idea!!!
