Hi All,

Has anyone replaced any of the O-rings in their air conditioning system? I'm trying the replace some on mine
1) the two that go into the expansion valve on the evaporator
2) the two that set between the metal pipe stubs and the air conditioning compressor
3) the two for the rear pipes that join the pipe stubs).

I'm really struggling with getting the right sizes, every one appears to say that they are 'standard' sizes, so i have bought a number of the standard size kits and they dont appear to fit.

All the o-rings i have removed appear to be around 1.6mm in thickness, all all the standard ones seem to be 2mm and above. I tried to fit a 2mm one and it just wasn't having it, far to tight to install the pipes.

Any tips? What am i missing?

I replaced mine, standard size i seem to remember.... they were a nightmare to fit though as there is a groove on the bloody pump that you can't see that the O ring also goes in. I tried and failed 3 times to get it to sealed, the aircon block fiddled for 10mins and sorted it lol.

Well its a new day and a new Noble part is now required.

I seemingly have sorted the O-ring with multiple O-ring kits, unfortunately the small high pressure charging adaptor piece has sheared off, and the receiver drier looks to be in poor condition.

Anyone know what they are from, or the thread sizes of the connections? Looks to be m16x1.5 to me, but its a taper thread which are usually imperial IIRC

Any tips appreciated

thanks

Matt
