I'd say try a different branch, it depends on the test operator. They test it with a portable electronic device that takes the capacity , cranking amps etc as input parameters, it then tests the battery, if they dont get a reading from device within limits they replace it.I've done this on x2 batteries, one was still in car, one was over the counter. Both times the 5 year warranty starts afresh.
