what is a 3D cad file? do you mean a rendering or a dimensioned production drawing?

Either way, the only people who would have one are the manufacturer.

I have been looking for a while now but there is nothing decent online. It's at the bottom of a long list for CAD parts to model.

I would imagine HiSpec will have a file of the 3d model

however it is possible to create your own 3d model using a laser and a digital camera

anyone got time to take on this project ?

If anyone does have a 3D scanner (even a small one) then I have some stone guards that could be 3D printed.

Hi Bondy what do these stone guards look like? Do you have a photo. I may be able to model it?

These look familiar. Let me check my pile of Noble bits. They look easy enough to model and 3D print.

I have those and some others. See pic. I have no idea where they fit but I could model and print those pretty easily with some spare time. If that would help anyone out?

The ones with the point fit to rear clam at the bottom to protect clam from stones off tyre. The other does the same for front tyres but fits to bottom edge of body below side repeater.

They would definitely be helpfull. They fit on the body work behind the wheels to protect from stone chips.

I would take some front and rear sets and some spares if anyone has any to sell or if anyone fabricates them.

Thanks

I have had mine and my spares carbon dipped 😊 but you can't get them anymore so a printable option would be good.

If someone makes some more they need to be thicker, they are only vac formed thin sheet, the original ones are to thin a few high speed runs destroy then,

Mine have always been fine but not done too many track days. But I agree, thicker would be better but it does depend on how tough the material is.

Hi guys,
So I have completed the V1 model of the stone guards. I have upped the thickness from a vac formed 1.2mm (thickest) plastic to 2.5mm (uniform thickness) black resin which seems tougher. I guess these are consumables.

Hopefully someone local to Redhill would be able to help me check the fit once they are 3D printed.(I have carbon bits on mine that I can't be arsed to remove and refit).

Redhill locals let me know!
