Fuel pump

When starting the fuel pump is not priming with the normal noise.iShould I be able to hear the relay click?if not I presume this may be the problem rather than the pump?

the relays were definitely clicking on mine i connected the pump to a spare battery i had to make sure it wasn't faulty

So was yours the fuel pump.

no fuel pump worked fine when connected to the battery , turned out it was the fuse holder partially melted as the car has upgraded pump and wiring loom

Cheers will investigate.Do the relays just pull out?
