Hi all,

I've just changed the fuel filter and notice that the braided hose between filter and pump has a sharp bend that constricts the pipe.

Is this the 'collapsed fule pipe' i've read about? What's the accepted replacement?

It looks to me like I need a pipe that's happy to ben 180degrees in less than about 8 inches.

It's usually the feed from tank to filter that collapses as I understand it but the filter to pump connection isn't brilliant so I turned the pump around and used a solid connection.

I like the piece of angle and riv-nut idea, very smart!

Thanks, I'll see if I have enough length on the pump output to be able to turn it round.

Useful pic as it shows where you've just localy earthed the pump. I'm just about to lay in new wires and relay so will probbly do that.

My tank exit is on the pump side therefore the feed hose is that black piece about 3" long. I have two 90deg bends with short pipe between filter and pump.
