Just had the car re painted, Fezzy diamond blk, work was done in Spain, thought i would share a few pics

Hate to admit it but already have as still had jack under the car when i opened the clam and just marked below number plate, doh.

Looks tremendous, the finish is stunning.
Is it metallic or anything?
Are you having Paintshield Miracle protection film or similar on the front clam?

Hello Shaun, Thanks, yes its the Fezzer diamond met blk, has more metalic than before, they spent 4 days flat and polishing it to get that finish there estimate was 2200euros which is so cheap so i offerd 2500 for the perfect job this was the end result, not perfect but 9/10 in uk eould of been 4k
I thought about protecting it but they never shine the same coated and at that price i can paint it every 2 years lol

Looks bloody amazing , mine needs doing next year same colour was pondering over wrapping it but ive got house in South of France and at that price might be worth taking it down there to get it painted as it does look very very nice....

Thanks, They are in Estepona Spain, they also painted my Catetham, hole car 1k euros.

Thanks guys for the feed back,
They also re laquered all carbon bits, and took out old light lens covers, and fitted the new ones, all at that price, pretty amazing.

I see u have a R300 thought it be pretty obv.

The full build, Is posted in the Caterham section, runs Honda K20 it was a R500.

Mines an R416 mathmatically, and that includes putting my fat ar$e in the drivers seat all fluids and half a tank of fuel. Of course it has R300 badges on it. Only the sound of 9200rpm gives things away.

Drove a supecharged one hated it, mine produces same power and more torque normaly aspirated power delivary is so smooth and relentless compared to a supercharged one which is snatchy to say the least.
Caterham R series are Quoted by power to weight ratio ie 300,400,500, and now 600bhp per ton. My Cat is more as it only weighs in at 470 kilo.

My are is a K with areao, carbon everything, kevlar tillets and full weight reduction wherever possible. Still 500 kgs on R500 alloys and slicks.

I'm sure a K20 is heavier than a K-Series too.

I went for Paintshield after a a front end respray and although it cost twice the respray it does shine better than the paint now and no chips after two years, I think the film technologies have moved on.

All catbon bits, no heater washer or screen, and K20 is 15kilo lighter, light magnesium wheels, on scales that is exact weight, built by F1 merc engineer think he knows whats what,getting bored now

Looks 10 out of 10 on photo's Craig, some finish!

I'm deliberating getting my whole car resprayed especially after seeing yours although doing away with the metallic completely in black still or complete colour change to TVR Reflex Charcoal then the front clam totally covered in Paintshield Miracle.

I was going to just get front clam done as the rest of car was mint n blemish free until recently a part roll of Polysafe vinyl that was stored poorly in my garage decided to attack & scratched the fk down the drivers door including the side of rear clam
