I know there's a thread on this somewhere, just can't find it!

What oil (and how much) should be in the 6 speed box?
Do I need to take the rear floor off to change it?

Thanks
Andy

I run 75 / 90 mocal, I believe the diff is sensitive to oil weight hence I won't try other weights.

I also change mine every 3-5k max and fill it to the correct level as per manual 'which is the lower edge of the fill point next to the the LH drive shaft' then add an extra 0.5l.

thanks Andy,

have changed order to the lightweight version (75w90) given that I'm on standard power and it never gets that hot in the uk!
