Oil pressure light

So. Y oil pressure light keeps flickering today. Had to drive car home in mental rain. Was scary. It flickers when the engine isn't running also. Why? Any ideas

Melted cable from the oil pressure switch which is behind the AC compressor, you should be able to check from the V underneath.
