where is the earth for the instrument cluster?

Afternoon all,

My car has developed an issue, all the electrical instruments seem to drop off every now and then. Quick bump in the road sorts it.

I've checked fuse 1 and that seems fine and clean with good contacts so next up is the earth. Anyone know where it is before I start diving into the dashboard?

I'm not 100% sure but isn't it behind the panel in the passenger footwell? There's a bundle of brown wires all attached to an earthing bolt.

Sounds semi familiar. ALL the instruments? Or just dials and indicators?

Mine did the same. Was a bad earth but also a very dodgy relay in the mess of electrics in the passenger footwell.

Twas all the electrical instruments. Cleaning up the earth seems to have sorted it, happy days
