There's a blue, 2004 3R in the latest Evo mag - W004 WHF

Nice feature and good for us to get publicity.

Car looks really nice in the mag and praise indeed being likened to, or at least reminding Jethro of a Speciale!

I've not actually received my copies of the mag yet so I've not read it yet. It was interesting being a passenger while Jethro tested it though.

It was an awesome 3 days, the Ford GT sounded immense. About half of the cars were press cars but us owners were looked after very well by Evo.

I was sat on the bank in the background in that picture while they were setting it up but they brought about 30 pizzas so I headed down to have some of that biggrin

Favourites?

Murcielago SV and GT3 RS for me.

Owned a P1 whilst my brother had an Evo Makinen which was fun.

Almost bought a CSL and have a noble. So I must be a connoisseur!

Anyone know the ranking yet? Where did the CSL come and where did the Noble come? Or is it just "the twenty best" without a definitive ranking?

Is the CSL really that good? I've driven an SMG M3 and the gear change was f**king atrocious. I can understand why they all rip the subframes to bits.

Yeah it is, I (think) I (currently) like it more than the Noble. SMG is archaic compared with some of the modern paddle shift boxes but I really quite like it. I can understand why people don't, specially those who have only driven it once or twice for a very short time, it took me a good few days/ couple of weeks to get to know the intracacies of mine and how best to drive and there are still times I wish it had a clutch pedal but it's by no means a deal breaker when the rest of the car is just so utterly perfect.

They put cars into 4 groups and picked a winner from each group, plus a wildcard. A winner was picked from this final group of 5, the others were not ranked.
