I am now about 10 weeks into Noble ownership and thought it was best to get Jetstream to have a look at the car just for piece of mind as im taking it to Germany next week.

What a great place, very interesting to look around and recognised some of the cars there from the forum. Matt and Dave are very friendly and helpful but im sure they hear that enough from this forum anyway.

Car seems to be in rude health according to Dave other than..two cracked exhaust manifolds.

Not ideal having a large bill so soon into ownership but these things happen. The car is back with them now having the upgraded Noble items fitted. Lets hope nothing else is uncovered!

Thanks to Jetstream for fitting me in so quickly.

Agreed on the nice dog :-)

Yes I bought private, its a risk especially with no inspection, but I feel I negotiated an appropriate deal for the car to cover something like this within the first year of ownership.

If that's all they find then I'd say you're doing pretty well! My car will be back with them too sometime in the next week

I know its quite common but not something easily checked when just looking under the clam.

If anything having them done gives me piece of mind. Its just the parts that seem a bit pricey, Jetstream's labour seems really reasonable.

Plus I have the bonus of only living 15 mins away from Jetstream so popping in and out is no problem. :-)

Don't rub it in being so close. I have a 2.45 hour drive to them. Have to fit it in with meetings I have near.

The flip side is its no doubt easier to empty my bank account on mods with them being so close!

Picked the car up this morning, sorry forgot to ask about tea bags :-)

Just as well I had them done, the crack on the front mani was much worse than it looked like from under the car, you could see daylight through it, the rear was also badly cracked on the joint between the runners and also the flange, and had been previously repaired.

Pleased I had it done!

I had mine done after my first ever visit to Jetstream. A generous noble owner sold me the upgraded items for £650. The rear one was similar to yours when it came off.

JS fitted the front one last summer during a service as it was sitting in the car rolling around.

Some of the real big spenders have inconel ones...
