I suppose it depends on what you want to use the car for (cruising, tracking etc) as they are both quite different.
My dad had a Tuscan and it was a great car, nice finish, was great eye candy and obviously sounds good.
Compared to a noble, its more cruiser and more luxury. Noble is more basic, but will reward you more when you push it through the corners.
On a 350T I dont know what they are like, ive always thought of the 350T as an 'entry level' TVR - but thats just my opinion :-)

How about in terms of road comfort?
I would love to do trackdays again (have LOADS under my belt then sold my race car for a boring V8 pimp cruiser!) it seems the TVR I could just take on, but to do that in a noble it will be over my budget (seems the M400 is the only safe way to get on track!) the one I have seen doesn't have a dry sump so that's taking it out of my budget straight away so no track use for a while taking me to winter time.
Are the nobles really that bad on track without all sump, LSD, 6 speed etc etc?

Just to clarify, it's not a dry sump, just a baffled one with increased capacity. Without it the G force on track causes oil starvation.
Plenty of GTO3s and 3Rs have them, not just the 400.
The 6 speed box is stronger than the 5 so it's less likely to break. It might be the diff that actually breaks.
Better to find one with the track sump rather than retrofit as they're a fairly expensive option.
Ah, and converting from 5 to 6 speed is not a simple box swap- though I don't know the details.

Thanks! I didn't know that, thought it was a dry sump conversion!
Luckily, my local noble/TVR dealer thinks he can get both cars side by side for me to take one out then the other!
Noble for everything else.. TVR for looks!
A TVR is an event, the sound alone did it for me. The noise a Noble makes is nowhere near that of a TVR (apart from Andy's Mod). The Nobles a great car, but for me it is more track orientated and reminds me of a Go-Kart/Elise with more power, which is also conveyed by the interior or lack of, whereas the T350 is an all round sports car, much nicer to look at etc, sculpted, a work of art. The Noble to me is built for speed, racing and is highly modifiable. The T350 is no slouch even at standard it's a tonne and 350bhp with around 300 torque, however having driven a modified Noble, the Nob has it on power and speed. It's personal choice, the look, the sound etc, go with your gut, although I've a funny feeling it will be an M12 Luckily, my local noble/TVR dealer thinks he can get both cars side by side for me to take one out then the other!

For track days the Noble will get on most with the right exhaust, the TVR will fail all the noise limits and get you sent home a lot except on rare and expensive 'no limit' days.
Its arguable if the TVR looks better as thats subjective and both look pretty impressive, interior the TVR has it but the noble is a very comfortable place to be and driving position is great.

A T350 with cats and a standard exhaust will be fine for the track. Plenty of guys track their T350 and some race them.

Nobles are far quieter as a rule.

But if you enjoy it when young boys stop in their tracks and just stare and point, mouth open aghast, that only happens for me driving the Noble. It's got more the supercar look, and doesn't look out of place in a Ferrari/Lambo lineup. TVRs have more the sports car look. Very pretty, but you need a Mk2 Tuscan or Sag for the wow factor. IMHO.ShiDevil said:

Kids stop before they even see the TVR, they can hear it coming The T350 has enough WOW factor This isn't too bad either

Looks and noise are subjective, so I won't comment. However, many owners have gone from TVR to Noble, I don't know of any that have gone back. I'm a 4 time back to back TVR owner, and on my 2nd Noble, for me only one is very very special in all the right areas of grip, grunt and balance.
